India gets its first taste of Lamborghini’s latest plug-in hybrid supercar with a V8 engine and 907 bhp output.
Lamborghini Temerario: A New Era of Electrified PerformanceLamborghini India has officially introduced the Temerario, its third hybrid model and a direct successor to the Huracan, at a starting price of ₹6 crore (ex-showroom). Making its global debut in August 2024, the Temerario now enters the Indian market as part of the Italian supercar maker’s push towards electrification without compromising performance.
Powertrain: 907 BHP of Combined FuryThe Temerario is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with three electric motors, delivering a combined output of 907 bhp and 2,150 Nm of torque. The petrol engine alone churns out 789 bhp and 730 Nm, while the electric motors contribute an additional 295 bhp.

This setup marks a significant upgrade over the Huracan, embracing Lamborghini’s new PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) strategy, as previously seen in the Revuelto.

The car rides on an aluminium spaceframe chassis offering 24% more torsional rigidity than the Huracan’s frame. For stopping power, it’s equipped with 410 mm front discs (10-piston callipers) and 390 mm rear discs (4-piston callipers).
Track enthusiasts can opt for the Alleggerita package, shaving 25 kg off the car’s dry weight of 1,715 kg, thanks to enhanced carbon fibre use.
