Times Square is a major commercial and entertainment hub in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It’s one of the most famous intersections in the world, where Broadway and Seventh Avenue meet, stretching roughly from 42nd Street to 47th Street. It was named Times Square in 1904 when The New York Times moved its headquarters there (into the Times Building, now One Times Square).
