NEW DELHI: Ahead of her visit to Europe as part of a multi-party delegation , BJP MP Daggubati Purandeswari said that India will no longer tolerate the decades-long terrorism it has faced.
"It is high time that the international community also realises the gravity of the situation in our country...We want to take a very strong message across that India would no longer be willing to be ravaged by the decades-long terrorism that we have been facing…,” she said while talking to news agency ANI.
Delegation leader BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad also stressed that while India believes in peace and harmony , it will not hesitate to act strongly against terrorism. "I am going to present India's strong side in European countries. Together, we will say only two things effectively- we believe in peace and harmony but if there is a terrorist attack on Indians from across the border, then there will be Operation Sindoor ,” he said.
Prasad further added that the delegation represents the entire nation and all of them coming from different parts of the country are speaking the same language against terrorism.
The multi-party delegation includes seven groups led by one MP each. The aim of the visit is to counter global misinformation and highlight India’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism .
