Send Push
Leaving the Pittsburgh Steelers in limbo, Aaron Rodgers has truly confused fans and experts as he still remains a free agent. Amidst this confusion, last week the NFL veteran blasted his former team, the New York Jets , on The Pat McAfee Show. But fans have, in turn, brutally trolled Aaron Rodgers for it, and now Pittsburgh Steelers’ Cam Heyward has spoken in support of the NFL veteran.

Aaron Rodgers finds support in Pittsburgh Steelers’ Cam Heyward despite the criticism he has received

Recently, a page on X posted about fans supporting the New York Jets’ management rather than Aaron Rodgers, despite the four time MVP winner detailing the mismanagement he went through in the team.

While fans remained divided, Pittsburgh Steelers’ Cam Heyward dropped a comment that read as, “How can this be praised? This ain’t cool….”

This shocked fans, as many believed that the situation between Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers is uncomfortable.

A fan replied to Cam Heyward and said, “Nobody with a functional brain cell is praising it, don’t worry”, while another fan said, “What's interesting is why ask him do you want to play football, then say were going a different direction. Either he's a horrible coach or ar lied about convo.”

A third fan wrote, “Anyone saying he is “holding out” clearly didn’t listen to what he said. He’s been upfront with the front office. The public don’t know that because, in this situation, they don’t matter. Good for you Big Cam. O-H!!!!!”

Fans continue to troll Aaron Rodgers as one calls him a “big baby”

However, a few fans have continued to be against the NFL veteran. A fan commented, “Neither is Aaron making everything about him. Aaron is a big baby who set a franchise back 2 years just to suck.”

Another fan posted, “Maybe it’s a real what you sow type of deal. Arod sure seems toxic from the outside looking in”.

A third fan wrote, “Bc Rogers thinks everyone should wait on his a*s, sign the receivers he wants & be at his beck and call all the time. Plus, it’s more professional & respectful to do this in person than over a text. Btw, you heard from that clown yet, or is he still dangling the carrot?”

For the unversed, when Aaron Rodgers appeared on The Pat McAfee Show last week, many believed he would finally provide some clarity on his future in the league. Instead, he blasted his former team as he spoke about their last meeting.

Aaron Rodgers said, “So we sit down and I think we’re going to have this long conversation, and 20 seconds in and (Aaron Glenn) goes: 'You sure you wanna play football?' And, I said 'Yes,' and he said, 'We’re going in another direction.'"

The NFL veteran has not provided any insight into what would be his final decision.
