In a landmark event, the Indian Esports organization , S8UL , has announced its participation in the Apex Legends Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC). S8UL has become the first Indian organization to participate in an international Apex Legends tournament. They have signed a roster comprising all Australian players that will represent the club and India in the upcoming global tournament.

The Esports World Cup is the largest multi-tier esports event in history. This year, EWC will be held in BOULEVARD CITY, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will unite over 2000 professional players and 200 top clubs. Hosted by the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) and ESL FACEIT Group, the event will see multiple tournaments from 25 games, each with its independent tournament format and prize pool. EWC 2025 will feature an unprecedented prize pool of over $70 million or INR 602 crores.
