Before the tournament began, Green made a heartfelt pledge to support the fire recovery efforts in the LA area. For every birdie she made, she promised to donate $500, and for each eagle, $1,000. By the end of the tournament, Green’s tally of 19 birdies and one eagle amounted to a total of $10,500.

Green's decision to donate was inspired by a conversation she had with former LPGA player Mo Martin , who shared how the fires had affected her family. Green was moved by the stories and wanted to help in a meaningful way. "I didn’t really know how many birdies I would make, but it’s been a great week for opportunities,” Green said. “I’m grateful to have contributed the amount I did.”

Though Green didn’t secure a third consecutive win, finishing tied for ninth with a 16-under score after a closing round of 67, her performance was still impressive.
