Princess Charlotte has sent her own message to the Lionesses after their major win against Spain this evening. Although the young royal has previously sent a public message alongside her brothers for Father's Day, this is her first social media message without Prince George and Prince Louis.
The message from Prince William and his daughter, who is known to be a huge fan of the Women's England team, read: "What a game! @lionesses, you are the champions of Europe and we couldn't be prouder of the whole team. Enjoy this moment @England", and simply signed off, "W & Charlotte".
Before the social media with William was published, the proud dad took to X and Instagram to share an adorable picture with his daughter on the pitch following the major win.
Alongside the sweet picture, which showed the royals facing away from the camera and William's arm protectively around Charlotte, the caption read: "CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE! [England-flag emoji]."
The young royal earlier looked tense as she stood in the stands with her dad to watch the England team go head-to-head against Spain. Charlotte, 10, looked adorable in a polka-dot navy dress, whilst William opted for a dapper suit.
As the team scored their second goal, and a victory was known, William was seen high-fiving a lady standing next to Charlotte.
Charlotte, in the middle, was seen beaming as she found out the team had won the match.
Whilst his son and granddaughter were in Switzerland watching the game, King Charles sent a message via social congratulating the team on their win.
Shared Royal Family's X account, the King sent the family's "warmest appreciation and admiration" after England beat Spain in the Euro 2025 final.
The message read: "Congress England. This brings you, your manager and all your support team my most heartfelt congratulations on winning the EUROS 2025... Well done, Lionesses. The next task is to bring home the World Cup in 2027 if you possibly can!, before being signed off by 'Charles R'.
