An act who supported Oasis on the opening gig of their Live 25 tour has shared what things are really like between the Gallagher brothers. Noel and Liam Gallagher famously fell out when a dressing room feud in Paris tore the band apart in 2009, meaning that they then did not perform together for another 16 years.
Frontman of Britpop band Cast, John Power, who was on the stage ahead on Oasis last week gave fans a glimpse of how the brothers are together now. On Good Morning Britain, the Scouse singer was asked by Melvin Odoom: "What is the likelihood of a fall-out?" John replied: "I give you my word it is going to continue. You know, because they are in a good place. I mean they're genuinely in a good place. You know, I've spoken to them and I can see it in their body language. I mean, I'm no like psychoanalyst or anything but you know, these things happen. Don't question it, go with it."
More than 75,000 fans watched history be made as Noel, 58, and Liam, 52, appeared for the first time on stage together in 16 years on Friday. The brothers had spent years embroiled in a feud before sharing a brief hug and walking out hand-in-hand to the thousands of fans who've waited years to see that moment.
Body language expert Judi James shared her thoughts on the brothers' actions as she claimed that "Liam was in control". She said: "The walk-out ritual signals unity of course but the status and instigation signals are important."
She added: "What we do see is Liam very firmly in control, instigating all the action. His arm is around Noel's shoulders as though he's the more dominant brother and as though he's the one finally leading his brother back out to an adoring audience.
"His maracas are held high in a signal of celebratory victory and they even form a V-shape to add to that message of victory. When they hold raised hands it's actually Liam grabbing his brother's wrist and holding it up, again as though presenting him proudly to the fans."
Judi then went on to comment on the brief hug the siblings shared before they launched into the show, noting how the 'significant' embrace was genuine and not put on for the fans - indicating a 'glorious' truce.
It was actually Liam who got the band back together, putting an end to the feud. In a post on X when he was asked who called first him or Noel, Liam replied: "I called him but don't tell anyone as I don't want folk thinking I'm a soft lad and stuffs keep it between me n you cheers x."
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
