This Saturday marks the last chance for fans to see their favourite semi-finalists of the series, with eight acts battling it out for a coveted spot in the final. Britain's Got Talent officials have announced that the line-up will include acclaimed acts: Binita, CJ Emmons, Han and Fran, Harry Moulding, Jerry Pop, Lazy Generation, Manho, and Red Panda.
Despite whispers of a potential comeback, Teddy Magic was absent from the line-up in the latest announcement for the upcoming showdown on May 24. Earlier hints suggested Teddy might grab a second shot to impress the judging panel, featuring Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli, but the promising magician did not receive a mention.
The eight-year-old illusionist had charmed the judges with his skills, yet unexpectedly pulled out of his April 26 performance at the eleventh hour, reports .
Presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly introduced him and it was clear something was amiss, with the duo momentarily floundering before revealing Teddy "wasn't ready" to take the stage.
Ant disclosed: "Now Teddy isn't quite ready backstage yet, so we'll chat to you judges," cleverly filling time until Dec interjected with news of a "little change of plan".
Simon appeared less than impressed, asking: "Wait, so the act's not ready?" Ant swiftly shot back, telling him: "He's only eight years old, so back off."
Following a brief pause, producers made the decision to move on to the next act, with Dec assuring viewers: "We're going to go to something else and come back to Teddy later on."
Rumours circulated that Teddy might make an appearance in a later semi-final round. However, The Sun had previously reported that Teddy would be withdrawing from this year's competition, citing a statement from officials.
A Britain's Got Talent spokesperson confirmed: "After discussions with Teddy's parents and the production team, it has been jointly agreed that Teddy won't perform in this year's semi-finals, but BGT hopes to see Teddy again in a future series."
Teddy's family also released a statement, saying: "We want to thank everyone who has supported Teddy and cheered him on - he continues to fill our world with magic."
Britain's Got Talent will air on Saturday night at 7pm, LIVE on ITV1 and ITVX
