Horror as teenager stabbed in chest outside bus station

A teenager has been stabbed in the chest outside a packed bus station in West Yorkshire. Police were called to Upperhead Row in Huddersfield at 5.05pm on Monday (August 11) after reports of a knife attack.

Officers from West Yorkshire Police found the 18-year-old with wounds to his chest and arm. The attack happened in front of shocked onlookers and buses filled with passengers, according to Yorkshire Live.

Police said the youngster was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and he has since been discharged, Yorkshire Live reported.

Detectives from Kirkees Criminal Investigation Department have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
