Gary Neville has torn into Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis for in the aftermath of Sunday's 2-2 draw with .
Marinakis was seen striding over to , who seemed to be trying to pacify the frustrated club chief. Unsurprisingly, Marinakis' actions quickly went viral on social media and were promptly met with a huge backlash.
Neville, prior to the start of Liverpool's match with , was among those to condemn the Forest owner, telling : "I was going to talk about the [] full-backs, but I feel compelled to mention that I think what the Forest owner has just done on the pitch over at the City Ground is absolutely scandalous.
"If I was Nuno, I'd be going and having a very strong word with him, because that is an absolute scandal. He's just qualified them for a European competition, and from where that club's been, and to be remonstrated with on that pitch in front of the club's fans is an absolute joke."

The former and England defender also took to social media to hit out at the Forest owner, where he urged Nuno to walk away from the club.
Scandalous from that Forest owner," Neville wrote. "Nuno should go and negotiate his exit tonight with him! The Forest fans, players and manager do not deserve that."
Fans were of the same opinion, with many quickly leaping to the defence of Nuno on an afternoon where Forest confirmed they will play European football next season.
They could yet go on to seal qualification if results go their way in the final two fixtures of the season, underlining the quality of the job Nuno has overseen at The City Ground.
Nuno confirmed the incident was down to uncertainty over the status Taiwo Awoniyi, who was hurt after colliding with a post. It wasn't immediately clear whether or not he could continue with Nuno confirming to Match of the Day: " is emotions. Today there were more than 30,000 people in the ground with their own emotions. It was a tough moment, after the situation with [Taiwo Awoniyi] we had one man less after a misunderstanding.
"It's difficult to control emotions when we had so much expectation on a day like this."
When he was pressed on whether the Awoniyi incident led to the confrontation, Nuno added: "Yes, it was because of that. It was a misunderstanding, a miscommunication. I’m sorry, I cannot go much further.
"It’s based on emotions, you cannot make a big deal out of it. It happens and it will happen again. With the emotions today, it’s understandable."
