Espanyol vs Barcelona game stopped as hit-and-run driver mows down fans outside stadium

A car was seeing running down multiple outside the stadium of Espanyol ahead of their fixture with , which took place on Thursday night. A clip of the harrowing incident was shared on social media during the game.

People outside the stadium were seen running away as police ran towards the vehicle. Marca claim that the incident led to the game being paused briefly, though it is speculated play quickly resumed as nobody was seriously hurt.
