A comedian who attempted a revolting had to be rushed to as fans online called him a “clueless idiot”.
Michael Brookhouse had planned on eating several of whole and, once they had passed through his digestive system, have them cleaned and made into coffee which he would then serve to his friends. The Australian shared footage on social media swallowing the beans with water but the next day in an update he revealed the beans had “clogged him up”. He was later taken to hospital as the beans had caused a severe blockage in his intestines, and he needed surgery.

Michael, one half of comedy duo Marty and Michael, wrote on their page: “The prank that nearly killed Michael. Don’t do this. Spread the word.”
The prankster said in a video: “This is the plan, I eat the coffee beans, I s*** the coffee beans, I wash the coffee beans. I make the coffee, then I feed the coffee to my friends.
“It’s a prank and I’m gonna get as many people as I can. We’re gonna start digesting the coffee. I cannot crunch it, I must swallow it. Now we let it digest.”

He said the next day from his hospital bed: “We just got the x-ray back and there are so many coffee beans so now I’m in the minor procedure room and they’re gonna give me gas and then do something and I’m terrified.”
He later had an operation and a doctor told the video they took out a “ton of beans” from his insides. Once he was able to once again use the toilet as normal Michael said: ”That was the worst week of my life. Don’t eat coffee beans.”
Few people had sympathy for hi, judging by the comments on social media. One person said: “Instead of you, someone with a serious condition could've been on that hospital bed who really deserved help.”
Another added: “You consumed a massive dose of a stimulant drug that's a vasoconstrictor.
“Not only are you lucky to have survived that effect, but you're lucky your body didn't leach enough caffeine out of it and kill you from a caffeine overdose.”
One more said: “I reckon it’s time to get an actual job fellas. Do everyone a favour.”
Another said: “What a complete waste of the doctors’ and nurses’ time.”
Several asked if he was allowed to keep the beans removed by the doctor so he could complete the prank, which suddenly did not seem all that funny.
