RateGain Q1: Profit Jumps 3.5% to INR 46.9 Cr

Travel tech SaaS major RateGain saw its net profit for the first quarter of fiscal year ending March 2026 (Q1 FY26), rising 3.5% to INR 46.9 Cr from INR 45.3 Cr in the same period last year. Sequentially, it declined 14.4% from INR 54.8 Cr in the previous quarter.

Its revenue from operations rose 4.9% to INR 272.9 Cr from INR 260 Cr reported in the previous year. On a QoQ basis, the revenue increased 4.7% from INR 260.6 Cr in the previous quarter.

The company’s total income for the period stood at INR 293.5 Cr, declining 5.2% from INR 278.2 Cr in the same period previous year.

Meanwhile, its expenses for the period under review grew 5.5% to INR 232.2 Cr from INR 220 Cr in the year ago period. Sequentially, it increased 11.2% from INR 208.7 Cr previously.

The company secured new contracts worth INR 81.6 Cr during the quarter, a 37.7% rise YoY, with its organic business (excluding Adara) contributing INR 46.1 Cr. However, the total number of customers remained broadly unchanged at 3,201, though there was some churn among smaller clients.

Revenue continued to be diversified across regions and offerings. North America contributed 58.4%, followed by Europe at 27.5% and Asia Pacific at 13.4%. Subscription, transaction, and hybrid models accounted for 17.5%, 50.9%, and 31.6% of revenue, respectively.

The quarter also saw new product rollouts, including VIVA, an AI-powered voice agent for hotel reservations. The company also introduced a new dashboard for connectivity insights, giving hotels and partners more visibility into booking trends and channel performance.
