Ever seen idli soaked in rasmalai syrup? No. How about eating sandwich stuffed with not veggies but ice cubes? Swiggy Instamart just dropped a reel that features such absurd and hilarious food fusions — and the internet can’t look away.
The grocery delivery platform recently stirred up social media with an Instagram reel showcasing a series of bizarre recipes that seem straight out of a food experiment. The reel captured unusual combinations such as Rooh Afza paired with samosas, "Coke Maggi," idlis dipped in rasmalai syrup, ice cubes added to buttered bread and chai enjoyed with a scoop of ice cream before mixing milk with Fanta.

The post came as a jab at food vloggers who often try to roll out reels featuring such weird dishes, primarily for views and likes.
Swiggy Instamart captioned the post, “that one food vlogger reel on your feed.”
The video opened with much-loved samosa being kissed with Rooh Afza and went on with similar recipes. It concluded with a mix of milk and Fanta which no one saw coming.
Comments
With exaggerated reactions and dramatic camera zooms, the reel hilariously took a dig at the style of viral food videos that often prioritise shock over taste.
The reel went viral and drew comments from brands.
Wendy’s India commented in disbelief, “Kyu? Kya? Kaisa?...Kon khata hai yeh?? (Why? What? How?...Who eats this??), while Coca-Cola India playfully asked, “Admin yaar, who hurt you?”.
The reel struck a chord with Instagram users who are tired of bizarre recipe trends clogging their feeds.
