Those students who are granted a seat in CAP Round 1 need to take additional steps from July 13 to July 15, 2025, to secure their admission. This process starts with the acceptance of the granted seat online, and then they pay a non-refundable seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000. Following payment, candidates need to download the allotment letter of the seat, which will be needed during the admission process.
Then, students need to approach either the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) or the college that has been allotted in person along with their original documents to get them verified. This should be done before the deadline in order to avoid cancellation of the allotted seat.
In the meantime, those candidates who fail to be seated in the first round should not worry. They will be allowed to take part in CAP Round 2. A vacant seat list will be published, and these candidates can fill out a new option form for the second round of allotment.
