Shani Jayanti 2025: In Hinduism, the new moon day of Jyeshtha month is very special, because on this day Lord Shani Dev appeared. This day is celebrated as Shani Jayanti. According to the Panchang, the new moon date of Jyeshtha month will start on 26th May at 12:11 pm. At the same time, this date will end on the next day i.e. on 27th May at 08:31 am. According to mythological belief, Lord Shani was born as the son of Sun God and his wife Chhaya. Shani Dev holds the position of judge among the nine planets.
