As soon as they come to know that today's bottled gourd vegetable will be cooked, their mood gets spoiled. Today we are going to tell you about such a dish of bottle gourd, about which they will have no complaints. They will also eat it with gusto like other members of the house. Here we are talking about bottle gourd bharta. It is delicious and full of nutrition. If you are bored of eating bottled gourd vegetables, then you can try this for a change. It is very beneficial for health in summer. It is digestive as well as gives energy to the body.

Ingredients
Bottle gourd – 1/2
Tomato – 1
Onion – 1
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Green coriander – 1 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Recipe
- First of all, peel the bottle gourd and then grate it. Keep the grated bottle gourd aside in a vessel.
- Now put some oil in a pan and keep it on a medium flame for heating. When the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and ginger-garlic paste and mix with a ladle.
- After a few seconds the cumin seeds will start crackling. After this, add finely chopped onion and fry it. After some time, the color of the onion will become golden brown.

- After this, add finely chopped tomato and cook it well. After this, add red chili, turmeric, grated bottle gourd, and salt as per taste and mix everything well.
- Now let the Bharta cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes. During this, keep stirring the Bharta in between and keep checking whether it is cooked or not.
- When the Bharta is cooked well, turn off the gas and take it out in a big bowl. Before serving it, add lemon juice and garnish it with green coriander leaves.
