Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two-day visit to his home state, unleashed a tirade on Pak-sponsored terrorism during a public rally in Kutch, which had witnessed drone-attack from Pakistan, asking the neighbouring nation to “live a life of peace and happiness and eat bread…otherwise, my bullets are always there”.

Speaking at the bordering district of Kutch he said: “I want to ask the people of Pakistan from this border district what have you got from all these? India has become the fourth-largest economy of the world and what is your state? Who ruined the fate of your children? Who forced them to go from door to door? You are the masters of terrorism.”

Modi will be inaugurating a slew of developmental projects across the state.

Getting down to the brass tacks, he said: “On May 9 night, drones came in, even in Kutch border. They thought Modi is from Gujarat, so let’s do something in Gujarat… We attacked the dens of terrorism but Pakistan tried to attack our innocent civilians and when their drones started showing up, you saw how they started dripping one after another. It was only after that the Indian army attacked their army with double the force.”

“We showed the world that we can raze the dens of terrorists sitting here,” Modi said adding that “we also saw how Pakistan lost its balance after India’s attack.” “With the precision that Indian army destroyed their airbases and defence setups, Pakistan was shivering,” Modi said.

Speaking at Bhuj, Modi said while India believes in tourism that connects people, there is Pakistan that believes terrorism is tourism and that is a major danger to the world.

In a message to the Pakistan’s youth, he said: “People of Pakistan, particularly the youth, listen to Modi, your government and your army are supporting terrorism. Terrorism has become a means to make money for the government and the army of Pakistan. The youth of Pakistan will have to decide if this is the right direction for them…if they are benefitting from it. The game that is being played for power…will that make the lives of Pakistani youth?”

“I want to tell the youth of Pakistan that your rulers and army are living in the shadow of terrorism and creating dangers in your lives. They are ruining your future and pushing you into darkness,” he added.

“People and youth of Pakistan will have to come forward to rid Pakistan from the malady of terrorism…Our policy is that of zero tolerance to terrorism and Operation Sindoor has strengthened it,” Modi said. “Whosoever tries to bleed Indians will be answered in the same language,” he added.

“Operation Sindoor is a mission to protect humanity and end terrorism,” Modi said.

“I had publicly said from a meeting in Bihar that I would raze the dens of terrorism after the April 22 incident. We waited for 15 days to see if Pakistan takes any action against the terrorism but probably terrorism is their bread and butter and when they did not do anything, then I gave a free hand to our army,” Modi said adding that the headquarters of terrorism were on India’s target. “They went in hundreds of kilometres and struck them without impacting anyone around and returned,” Modi said adding that this is a testament of our army’s capacity and discipline.

“In 1971 they had attacked Bhuj airbase and our women did a miracle (repaired the runway within 72 hours). The retaliation of Pakistan’s attack was so forceful that all their airbases are in ICU till date and that is when Pakistan was forced for submission,” Modi said.

“It was the prowess of our army and within a few hours, Pakistan started waving the white flag and said we don’t want to fire bullets,” Modi said. “We said, we were saying from the beginning that our objective was to decimate the dens of terrorism. After that you sit in silence, but you made a mistake and had to suffer the consequences.”

“India’s war is with the terrorism across the border. We have enmity with those who are nurturing them,” Modi said.

Earlier, Modi attended another event at Dahod and roadshows in Vadodara and Bhuj. He also attended another roadshow at Ahmedabad.
