SBI SCO Recruitment 2025: State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a notification for recruitment to Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO) posts. In this recruitment, an annual package of Rs 1 crore has been offered for one post. The application process started on 11 July 2025. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting sbi.co.in.
A total of 33 posts will be recruited under this recruitment. These include 18 posts of Deputy Manager, 14 posts of Assistant Vice President, and 1 post of General Manager. Interested candidates can apply online till 31 July 2025.
15 years of experience for the post of General Manager
The State Bank of India has issued a notification for appointment to the post of General Manager in Hyderabad. For this, the candidate must have a BE/BTech or MTech/MSc degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related subjects. Also, 15 years of experience in BFSI, IT, or Cyber Security sector is required, out of which at least 10 years should be in a leadership role. Those who have handled Red Team Exercises or VA-PT will be given preference. The annual salary package for this post is up to Rs 1 crore, and the age limit has been fixed from 45 to 55 years.
Recruitment of Assistant Vice President
For the post of AVP, candidates should have a BE/BTech (CS/IT/ECE, etc.) degree with at least 50% marks and a CISA and ISO 27001:2022 LA certificate. At least 6 years of experience in BFSI or IT sector is mandatory, out of which 3 years should be in IS Audit or Cyber Security.
Selection will be based on shortlisting, interview, and negotiation on CTC. The maximum annual salary for this post can be up to Rs 44 lakh. Posting will be in Mumbai, Hyderabad, or under mobile duty.
Qualifications Required for Deputy Manager Post
The post requires a BE/BTech degree with 50% marks and a CISA certificate from ISACA USA. The candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in BFSI or the IT sector, out of which 2 years of experience should be in IS Audit or Information Security.
Selection will be based on shortlisting and interview only. The post falls under the MMGS-II scale, and posting can be done in Mumbai, Hyderabad, or Mobile Duty. The age of the candidate should be between 25 and 35 years.
Selection will be through two stages.
The selection process for SBI Specialist Cadre Officer Recruitment consists of two stages - shortlisting and interview. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, which will carry a total of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the bank. The final merit list will be prepared in descending order, based on the marks obtained in the interview only.
