Farmers across the country have been eagerly awaiting the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana 21st Installment Date). But for farmers in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, the wait is over as the central government has released the 21st installment ahead of schedule. This installment was sent ahead of schedule to provide relief to farmers, given the losses caused by heavy rains, floods, and landslides.
Meanwhile, the Modi government gave farmers another gift on October 11th. On Saturday, October 11th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched, inaugurated, and laid the foundation stone for several projects and schemes worth over ₹42,000 crore to boost agricultural production. He also launched the Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana and the Prime Minister's Mission for Self-Reliance in Pulses. These two schemes have a combined outlay of ₹35,440 crore.
The government has given farmers a gift. But the question is, when will the 21st installment be credited to farmers' accounts? Diwali is just nine days away, and millions of farmers are waiting for their 2,000 rupees.
PM Kisan Yojana 21st Installment Date: When did the installment arrive last year?
In 2023, this installment will be released on November 15th, and in 2024, the 18th installment will be released on October 5th. According to last year's schedule, the 21st installment should have been released by now. However, so far, only farmers in four states—Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir—have received the funds. Farmers in other states are still waiting.
PM Kisan Yojana 21st Installment Status: What is the status of the 21st installment?
No official date has been announced by the government yet, but several media reports suggest that 2,000 rupees may be deposited into farmers' accounts before Diwali. This means that the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana is likely to arrive before October 20, 2025.
₹2,000 will not be credited to their accounts.
Farmers who have not completed e-KYC, whose Aadhaar is not linked to their bank account, whose IFSC code is incorrect, whose bank account is closed, or whose personal details do not match, may be deprived of this installment. Due to these issues, fund transfers may be stalled. Overall, farmers who have completed e-KYC, submitted the correct documents, and linked their Aadhaar to their bank account may receive this Diwali gift. However, farmers whose details contain errors or missing information may not receive the installment.
